Heads are iron, 10239906 casting number, complete with head bolts, springs, valves, rocker arms, etc. Valve job was done on it last winter when the rest of the engine was rebuilt, no problems all summer. The intake ports were also cleaned up then. Bought some aluminum heads so loose some weight and add some compression.

Also have a Professional Products dual plane idle-6500rpm intake for Vortec bolt pattern, has the air gap, powdercoated red. Was run from mid july through october, also in great shape, won't fit the new heads.

are they stock springs or bigger springs?

I don't know if they were ever replaced, this was the last engine that I had that builder do, and we went round and round on everything, money, recipts, etc. I never got a true build sheet.

I was however running a Crane 109831 cam in it (.509/.528 lift) with no coil bind, so I will assume that they are not stock springs.
