2 Sweet
I think the Mugen Civic also has a nicer interior. Still it's probably one of the most overpriced cars I've seen in a very long time.
Mongoose
At least these cars will give us all something to point and laugh at on what may otherwise be a boring commute. I like Honda's but when I first saw the price on these Mugen Civics I couldn't help but laugh.
2 Sweet
Go browse for a classic muscle car, or watch barret jackson sometime. Very true. I know I wasn't clear, but I meant new cars.

kirks5oh
so when i see one of these on the road, i should be able to take it (in the wife's explorer or '99 sentra)??
thorne
It makes me laugh because some kid is going to see that and buy it thinking he got the hottest ride around. He will be king of his highschool parking lot with the power he will instill upon the n00bs.
medium fast
I just picked one of these up for a daily, for the price and performance I dont think you can beat it.
2pointslow
<--those sure don't add up to $6k and I think I was being generous!! ^What a waste, for $6k you could do 4 times those mods and ones that would actually enhance the performance of the car(the wheels look good though). you are so off on your prices its not even funny. all that should add up to about 6-8k. Mugen products are crazy expensive.

boosted98gst
and yeah, they did not install "mugen" sway bars, same old bone stockers, you can even check them out.
87GT
Yes it is an overpriced civic. True story coming from a civic lover. I would never buy one even if I had money to throw around.
2pointslow
i would never buy it im just stating that true mugen products are retarted expensive

Steve1647545497
They only are making 500 of these a year, it only has a few Mugen parts on it but Mugen parts are top of line and pricey. I would highly doubt you will see many of these on the road, it will be more of a collector type of car. A true Honda fan will buy this, not someone who just thinks of straight line power. Black ITR Guy
Maybe if it had an extra 60hp or something. Then it'd be as cool as the Integra Type R was. But an extra 20k for a body kit, some wheels, and rims? Fuck that. watch it!!! lol

Steve1647545497
So, are they selling 500 here and the rest somewhere else or are they selling just 1000 here and keeping the couple extras?
lemosley01
Who cares how many they are selling? It is a civic with a body kit and a 20K markup. The only thing that car will do is depreciate like most other cars. It's never going to be a 'collector's item' - if you think so, I have a bridge for sale, also. I have no idea whats going on with where they go, I just know thats how many we built at complete auto, we got only so much left over parts also which went to marysville service center.......the 4th week one of the civic's was already jacked at a dealer in texas we herd. EGOKILLER
rather spend that kinda of money on a STi and do some mods with the leftover cash. +1 on that, i mean the civic is nice but it sure is'nt close to an sti or an evo. TheCarGuy2021
Ridiculous. That's ~$10,000 more than I paid for my entire S2K build (including the car), and I'll have more than double the power of that.
