I think there was a huge debate on whether the second one was staged when it came out (awkward "acting" at the beginning, mattress to fall on, swings head before actual punch landing). Highlights in the movie a cop car drives by and doesn't stop. Towards the end an guy pulls the first guy away from the fight. He was losing too much.
