satellite flybys

I know a guy that hangs out up at Perkins Observatory that wears an iridium flare "satellite reflecting the suns light" wrist watch. He yells every few minutes for everyone to look up and there goes one.

If I ever get bored of deep sky photography, my telescopes mount can be programmed for satellite tracking and I could try some photos of them.

If you want to see some nice ones there are some videos people have shot on youtube of the ISS (even some with shuttles docked) at very high magnification.

These are amature photos with amature gear and its still way more detail than I had imagined so pretty cool.
