TEXASS
Ok easter weekend i put a new rear end in my truck. With that new rear ended up putting a powertrax locker in it. So lastnight i decide to get into it and see what she can do. When the tires started to spin the truck started hopping... bad, bad enough that my head was hitting the cab. So what can i do to fix it? Will ladder bars help or is there something that works better?
schmuckingham
Wheel hop resulting from axle wrap sucks. Try take some metal worm clamps and tightening them around the ends of the leaf spring so the leafs have some resistance to moving, its a cheap temporary fix. Long bars would be a good addition to the locker along with some stickier tires. Are you still at UNO? if so go talk to Morgan, McPherson, or Schultz about cheap options
AJ
bad shocks can also cause more than normal wheel hop.
