Guest Hal
Go on SVTperformance.com there are usually a few for sale. I know today I saw a couple sub 15k miles on there.
kirks5oh
svtperformance, like hal said. at least once a week, an established member of the site decides to sell their cobra for some unknown, fucking idiotic reason--usually to buy a z06 vette. plenty of low mileage, un-abused cars there. buy one with a twinscrew, and be done with it. i have an '87 h/c/i fox, and nothing, i mean nothing compares to the cobra--i've never driven a z-06 vette though

kirks5oh
these cars have held their value for one reason or another---people like the new edge body style as opposed to the 'retro' look for '05+;; some disgruntled, would-be GT500 buyers are willing to pay $25k for a used terminator as opposed to $50k for a car that is only a fraction faster, etc etc. near stock with 30k miles http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=465356 ported/pullied with low mileage http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=471021 big, big blower car http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=458899 cammed twinscrew http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=478216 there are new ones posted up daily, just keep your eye out

Dr. Pomade
BTW, I don't think you can go wrong with an 03/04 Cobra. Good luck with your search. Sorry, I don't have any leads for you.
kirks5oh
Whoa, wtf is up with the animosity? i know, i know--i went a bit overboard there. relax, my next (sports) car will most certainly be a vette, but i'm keeping the cobra. But I will be doing a Year In Germany in 09 so I will be buying a older Z06 and Puting the rest down on a house.

Wease
I own both, an '86 Gt and an '03 Cobra. I love them both and would have to be hard pressed to sell either. It's the best of both worlds. Honestly, I'd focus more on http://www.autotrader.com instead of SVTPerformance. On Autotrader, you'll find more cars that are closer to stock and in better condition, as most "older" guys that are selling them, didn't mod them much and have never been on a performance message board. My car was the perfect example of this. I almost blew it off, as I didn't like the one crappy picture the guy took of it. Two weeks went by and I called him on it anyway. It turned out to be a perfect condition '03, with a CAI as the only modification, and just 11K miles. The guy was probably 3-5 years older than me, and had never even thought of moidifying it further. With SVTPerformance, you get all the kids on there who have modded the shit outta their cars, raced them, beat the hell outta them, then figured out they really can't afford them in the first place. Oh yeah, and you'd better check your insurance rates. Don't be one of those guys who pays $200+ a month to insure their Cobra. Personally, I think if you pay that much for insurance on a sports/muscle car, you should be driving something cheaper until your insurance comes down. Anyway, I found these on Autotrader within 100 miles of Columbus: Stock '03 in Toldeo with 20K miles, $25K Stock '04 in Hamilton with 44K miles, $23,900 I'd jump all over that white one if I was looking for an nice, stock, well cared for Cobra. Miles and price are about dead on. Good luck with your search...

hpfiend
Depends what you want to do... Almost all of the cobra parts bolt on your fox... The foxes are lighter as well... The kicker is resale though- while you can make a fox a cobra you cant sell a fox like a cobra.
