1fast5gp
It's uncle scotty's cocktail. Search Nasioc but it has been proven, but don't know why but it works wonders in subaru trannies. I haven't had a chance to or need to flush my tranny yet, but that is exactly what i'm putting in when I do. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=920674

craig71188
We used to use a 50/50 mix of ATF & 85/140 gear lube in 240Z transmissions that we raced in 24 hr enduros - never had any problems with durability. I have also used the Redline Lightweigh Shockproof lube (straight) in my formula ford Hewland transaxle, it is also the preferred lube for the 125cc shifter kart gearboxes (both have straight cut gears and no synchros). I do not know what it is about some of these "hybrid" blends - nor why the engineers don't come up with them. I'm sure there's a interesting discussion to be had with them on what all attributes from the various ingredients are doing with each other - both positive and negative.
