car chemistry exhaust inserts

Hey all anyone ever use one of these or heard one in person?

I want to get a set of them to bolt onto flanges and extensions I am going to weld onto my mufflers to quiet my car down and unbolt for the track. You can also add stainless steel packing to them to quiet further...

The dynatech cone inserts do not come in 2.5" and I don't know if a mesh cone will quiet mine down as much as I would like anyhow.

Other option is a set of dynomax bullets or moroso spiral flows welded into my offroad h and a set of cutouts before the final mufflers but thats a lot more hassle, weight, and cost and with most cutouts you lose ground clearance no matter how you angle them to make them accessible and the electric jobbers are not that reliable and leak- the one I have in storage was reliable but did leak occasionally depending on how it seated and I only had it on there about 8 months before I totaled the car.

Dont care about power loss really as it is a street only thing and I cannot get enough traction anyhow on the street to use most of my car anyway and my cruise control testing days have been over since I was 18.

In my novas exhaust which is dual 3.5"- coming from supercomps into bullets and turn downs , I added http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DTC%2D72%2D32510&N=700+4294923429+4294865405+115&autoview=sku and they do quiet up and change the tone nicely.
