stolen 5.0
I have a 99 ranger 3.0 4x4 with auto tranny. Started it up today and it would not engage into reverse, everything else works fine. tranny fluid looks nice and at perfect levels. No leaks or smells what so ever. I think, along with a few others it may be an electrical problem or maybe a soleniod not engaging it into reverse. Reasons for this is 1st gear still works fine and I noticed zero problems with anything before today. Anyone have any ideas?
Guest 614Streets
deep scan it and hope its just a bad solenoid pack.
DOZZER
Sorry to say you are more than likely going to have to have it rebuilt or replaced.
