kshymkiw83
Im sold. My folks have TW and its ... ok i suppose but slow sometimes. since i moved into my new place ive been shopping for cable/internet. I dont have a flat screen or need high def so thats not of real importance just fast internet and a DVR that works. I'll have to give them a call monday, hell maybe sat if they're open? Just go DirecTV, all the features you are looking for, for cable and more HD Channels.

Farkas
From Broadband Reports: "U-verse has a 25mbps pipe to the home, that also has to carry up to 10mbps internet. AT&T is not currently doing any "mixed-use" of their streams, I've personally tested that I get my full 10mbps when I'm using all 4 streams." ...since you guys still don't seem to understand how it works. That also depends on customers location in relation to the node... If he is the only one on a certain node in his area then people have also noticed decent speeds on their lines. The rest are lucky if they get 6mbps. And it's not 25mbps to someones home.. FTTN is to a local, "node." Meaning It's not fibre optic to your house, but to your local node that could still be on the other side of the neighborhood and you're still using a copper line from your home to that node, big whoop. iwantaturbo
so ATT got half the job right, running fibre to the nodes, but why not complete the task and run that ish to the houses. and the one hd stream is ok with me, but ide like that second one so 'she' can watch her shows and i can go in the other room to relax. iwantaturbo
sorry to thread highjack, anyone have positive results with dish? (not technically highjacking b/c dish and u-verse are both att products??)

87GT
My friend has fiber to his house in hilliard. It uses this huge modem looking device. It is larger then a encyclopedia book.
verse
So you got a free round of golf? If that's the case then I'm going to switch today. lol
Diamonds
Sure it's cheap, but that's what you get for technology and services still considered BETA. Have fun with your U-verse.. I'll give you a couple months before you see the big downside. I wont go into this again but I've done my fair share of research on U-verse and what it has to offer, or lack there-of. EDIT* The new AT&T's service is on point though, that's for sure! I'm no techno guru... all im looking to do is watch some TV and download some music/porn and it works fine! Besides, i'll only be in Columbus till January anyways, i think i'll get by. As far as "services" like TV & Internet i don't come into "the game" expecting much, and am transferrably satisfied. Besides, if it ends up sucking i'll just dump ther service... i HAVE to keep the service for 3 months and im ending month number two with ZERO complaints.... and i have 200.00 cash in my pocket from them... and my total bills for those three months would be 155.00 (because of the 1st months comping) so technically im making money/.. I can definately agree with you about making money from them, that's great! I just wouldn't want anyone to consider uverse without knowing the big let downs. It seems a lot of people are getting a free 3 month grace period to test it out, which seems nice if anyone wanted to take advantage of it for a not to see how they liked it. Agent Orange
Does anyone know when this is coming to Delaware? I can't wait to throw TW's junk through their front window, and tell them to go fuck their mothers.

verse
70 max on a 60 degree? what's your swing speed? I've never had it measured. Just started playing at the beginning of the year. Shot an 82 a few weeks ago so I think I'm doing pretty well as a beginner. Normally been shooting 88-94.
