Second annual all Italian car show at Wendy's headquarters in Dublin on 161. Last year the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's there were amazing. Just a few pics from last year.

I will be there with the G/F. Doc, are you going to be going, it's a bike show too.
I have gone in previous years, but the bike display is pretty thin. Chris often wins with his MV, and I saw a guy win one year with a V7 Moto Guzzi that he'd bought off the internet for 4k the week before. So, the bikes are not that impressive, really. Many, many Ferrari's though. The cars are great. MAG brings new cars, plus they "escort" cars from local celebs who wish to remain anonymous. Some beautiful Italian machinery alongside some pretty snooty people. And it's for a good cause.

Definitely a good show, thanks for passing along the info. Lots of cars you don't see everyday. Was able to snap a few pictures along the way as well, including... http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq224/mtwebb5/DSCN0462.jpg

You know what would be really fun, renting a dump truck and plowing through that place smashing one ego at a time.
Funny you should mention that. I was there today with starkmaster and his lovely lady, and a VERY STRONG gust of wind came out of nowhere, blew for about 15 secs, blew merchandise, metal racks, and boxes all over the vendor area, lifted one canopy, poles and all, up into the air about 20 feet before crashing down into another display. We all were astonished that with all the metal flying, nothing hit any of the cars parked amongst all this stuff.

However, I would say that for that 15 seconds there were some very terrified Ferrari and Lambo owners. :eek2:

BTW Mitch this is not the 2nd annual. They've had this show for more than 2 years.

I got the info from here http://consumer.discoverohio.com/searchdetails.aspx?detail=60259 Evidently their info was incorrect. No biggie.

I was wrong about the admission price, too. Oops.

I saw the ford GT with the Z28 vanity plate. You've got enough dough to buy the car, but didn't bother to get a new plate? WTF!

Actually right as most everyone were leaving the event, the white Lambo with black wheels ran over one of those metal rods. It took a nice chuck out of the rocker panel. I didn't take any pictures, because you could tell he was pretty upset. There were a few other people that ran up to take pictures of the damage though, so they may surface.

Actually, looking through the pictures that I took I managed to take a picture of the rod in question before the incident.

Sorry about the huge pics, haven't had the chance to re-size them.

It hit the Wheel Medic tent. It was pretty crazy to see something fly around and then come at you.
