El Karacho1647545492
we're fucked. sooooo fucked. edit: and not because this failed. its because no one in congress has stood up and said "hey maybe we should STOP LENDING MONEY THAT NO ONE HAS SO THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T HAVE TO TAKE CONTROL AND PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO PAY TO BAIL OUT RICH PEOPLE WHOSE LIVELIHOOD MAY SEE A SMALL DISCREPANCY IN LUXURY FOR THE NEXT FEW YEARS" yelling on the internet is fun edit2: i realize this isn't just about rich people, but people who need borrowed money to live. jeffmeden
"Dow Soars Almost 500 Points" 'OMG, the stock market is crashing! its 1929 all over agin!!!' See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_cat_bounce for the latest in how World Depression II* is shaping up. *Just as "The Great War" became "World War I" after the second "Great War" that we had to call "World War II", The coming recession/depression/cataclysm will come to be known as "World Depression II". I also predict that a young genius will later go on to prognosticate that "I know not with what financial insturments World Depression III will be fought, but I do know that World Depression IV will be traded on sticks and stones" Let's just hope this is ONLY World Depression II. Ry_Trapp01647545522
i might start worrying when(if?) the market starts approaching the 1987 crash. im not saying im a financial expert, and have a complete understanding of whats happening(hardly, lol), but looking vaguely at the past, where we're at now isn't that big a deal. i'll be pissed if im wrong. jeffmeden
Fear is a stronger emotion than greed If you have an idea to keep America happily working even though they can no longer afford their 2500 square foot homes and 2 SUVs in the driveway, come up to the front. Until that problem is solved, it's a greed-on-fear cage match to the bottom, and no one wins (not even the spectators). Take either one of them away and we might have a chance at getting out of this with our shirts and shoes intact.
rch10007
This whole ordeal is just another way to ensure both sides get some pork in the barrel and into a bill that MUST be passed in order to keep the world from falling apart. Politicians pwn your fear. You think they are in DC trying to figure out what's best for America? HAHAHAHAHAHA! They are working to stuff that bill more than John Holmes could stuff a porn star. And they harder they stuff, the more we scream. This is just an opportunity for DC to get their pockets lined before taking the rest of the year off. What a fucking job!
