A vote for Obama is a vote for.....

At this point, who else stands a realistic chance of winning against McCain. That's my biggest consideration.

In the last election, a lot of people voted for Nader, when his platform closely matched Gore's. That helped tip the balance in a close election, and gave Bush another four years to continue tearing this country down. If Nader had had any real concern for having his issues addressed, he would have withdrawn from the election, and given his endorsement in exchange for a cabinet seat.

I'll tell you the truth, I'd really love to see Ron Paul on the cabinet somewhere, preferably as Secretary of State. The guy isn't a nut, and he makes a lot of sense on a lot of issues.

But he, and Bob Barr, whoever else; they can't beat McCain. They can't get Bush policies out of office. So I'll put my vote where it will contribute something.

What part of "/thread" didn't you understand????? :gtfo:
