Scotty2Hotty
Is there a law against this now or something? It's obviously a given no no, but you can still get the Turbo back set up for 06+. With the new 6.4 Ford, you have to get a DPF delete pipe and tune from SCT. gmann
If you plan on DD'ing the truck and not modding it either would be good. if you want a high power truck that's relatively easy/cheaper to mod get the Dodge. I was looking to get one when I was in the vehicle market it was either an older body (98-2002 (BR/BE)) style Ram 2500 or the S4. I found a great deal on the S4 and went with it, otherwise I'd be in the Ram. I've rebuilt an ISB, and the 6.0L powersmoke (it's what I do) and the ISB is a lot simpler and less prone to breaking due to less moving stuff. The 01-02 has the best fueling system of the bunch and produces the best power out of the box. You'll want a manual with a diesel, the auto's will break QUICKLY. Also expect to replace the turbo soon if you plan on running a chip, Holset turbos are great when left stock, but wear quickly when used outside their designed limits).
