Stimmel1647545512
When putting a battery in the trunk does it matter if you run the cable up to the starter in the car or outside the car? The car in question is my 5.0 vert battery is going in the trunk soon and I need to know whats best place for the positive cable? Thanks
4DooR_SuprA
Why not run it under the carpet inside the cabin and through the firewall? I mean you can certainly intsall a thick line that runs along the underside of the car to the starter and such, but you will have to make sure its secured really well and not near any fuel lines. I guess going through the carpet and firewall would be more work than its worth.
NTHER91
when going through any metal i.e sheet metal you must use a gromet, or your car could burn down. It could make it look cleaner but its not worht the hassle in the end. IMO
Dave1647545494
I ran mine inside the car I thought it would looked half-assed run outside the car don't forget the kill switch if you ever plan on going to the track
Guest Hal
I would run it inside, I think it makes for a cleaner install. Don't forget, like Eric said, use a grommet anytime you go through metal.

Guest Hal
inside, run it to the starter soilnoid...not the starter! otherwise it will crank all day! Good catch there. I think most people just associate the starter with the solenoid.

Stimmel1647545512
please post in english it very hard to understand what you are tryying to say Dear Robert, I was asking you if you could take a look at the rear disc brakes on my 1988 Ford Mustang since the conversion they have been alright but I believe that there is a lot more potential in the system, I also think that possibly one of my North Race Cars bracket could be bent, therefor I would like to have a professional such as yourself to help me further diagnose the problem. On another note If you are in the northern part of town i.e. (Worthington) give me a call and you can bring your truck and pick up my big aluminum ladder and we can work on the siding on your house. Regards, Andrew Stimmel
