Dave1647545494 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 the sending unit for the fuel guage is seperate from the pump you need a pump for a carb the carb system takes low pressure like 10psi or less you replace the in tank pump with a pickup tube assembly (granatelli makes one) and then mount the carb pump of your choice near the tank.
