Big A
My girlfriend is looking for an internship to be able to finish school. The advisor was going to set this up but he has had some problems finding companys so she is on her own. She is looking for something in the management field as she is in the small business management program. Here is the discription for the intern- "The employer should provide some sort of realistic work experience. Not grunt work, but something meaningful that may be of the type that assists another person for example. Perhaps running reports that are needed which would relieve the other person of an essential task. We're looking for the type of work that allows the student the opportunity to see and perhaps learn some of the managerial duties associated with that type of business. We're not asking that the student be privy to confidential information, but rather to assist in the "back of the house" types of experiences." So if anyone has any suggestions or is looking to hire an intern at their own company please let me know. She has 5 years of work experience ranging from retail to daycare. She needs to find one and be able to start around the first week of January. Thanks
