Guest RoundIIRacing Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 I have been debating on doing a 347 in my 88. My concern is the wrist pin going into the oil ring of the piston. At least do a 331. Gotta love the torque the 347 with a little boost. Imagine if it was a 427 ci windsor. You already know I'm hooked on my 347,but it doesn't rap quite like a 331!I need to turn up the boost to like 20 p.s.i. and throw some race gas in it!I took it to the track Brian,on 10 p.s.i.,it went 11.27@140 m.p.h.,I had the 2 step way to low,it had a 2.6 60ft.!It actualy left at 0 and bogged really bad!I'd like to launch at 15 p.s.i.,then hello 9's !
