boosted98gst
From the west coast to the east coast every major track has held or holds an import vs domestic day, Has any of ohio's local tracks held anything like this before? if so how was the turn out? Scotty2Hotty
I think Dragway 42 does this sort of event.
boosted98gst
I think Dragway 42 does this sort of event. the one event on the east coast seems to do really well, Id figure it would be alot of fun to have a big local event. spooling 1g
Lets get a CR import vs domestic track day together then. Im down. Make 3 classes. Miller
Lets get a CR import vs domestic track day together then. Im down. I was about to suggest the same thing. Should have like 40-50 guys enter and have a 50/50 mix of cars. Put a restriction on the number of fbody/vette guys - Since we have too many of them anyway. This sounds like a great idea, it should spark up some good friendly races,
schmuckingham
Stipulation for the imports is your car actually has to be imported and not assembled here. Domestics have to be made here and not Canada or Mexico...... that would flip everything around anyway haha
Linc5.0
what about me guys?
ImUrOBGYN
what about me guys? Your powertrain is domestic. I would think you'd have to go domestic. Of course, you're question may've been rhetorical and I really don't for sure, anyway.

boosted98gst
In the past 3 years ive noticed columbus areas getting there share of faster import cars like sub 11 second cars. I know there are way more v8's at the track that do this and that, but I really feel for the average car builder/ racer It would be fun thing. maybe if we did this with a as a private event or maybe even make it a public event, sure it would bring its share of loser ricers, but it also might bring out alot more racers. DaddyBuiltRacing
I would say go by power train company. So for the RX7 guys with LS1's they'd be in the domestic category since they are rocking american made engines.
