Buck531 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 Looking for a cheap upgrade for my brothers PC. Right now it's a PIII 733 Mhz custom job I did a while ago for him. Looking for something faster. AMD or P4, 512 mb ram, 40+ gb drive. I'd rather not piece together something rather than just plug it in and put on XP. Ramsey Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 i have compaq, that was upgraded to a gig i think.i haebt turned it on in a while. it may have a easy fix virus, i cant remember. i just have the tower and 15" monitor. 40 gig hard drive, cdrw drive. 2.8 processor. 100 bucks and its urs. morabu Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 i have a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (2.08ghz), 512mb ram, 40gb hdd, dvd-rom pieced together from 2 older compaq towers already setup with AVG, spybot, ad-aware, and a few other things i could do $90 for it i also have an Apple G4, 733mhz, 1gb ram, 40gb hdd, dvd-rom comes with the apple keyboard, OS 10.4.1, Mac Office X, Photoshop CS suite i could do $165 for it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
