JaSSon
I no longer need this so it's up for sale. Dell Axim X30 PDA: Windows mobile 2003 Second Edition Intel xScale 624 mHZ processor (scalable speed) 64Mb RAM 3.4" 240x320 resolution touch display (Screen guard installed as long as i've owned it) Built in bluetooth Built in WiFi 802.11b Buile it IrDa (infrared data) 3.5mm head phone jack (standard size) Accessories include: 2 batteries, 1 stylus, 4GB high-speed SD card, docking cradle with charger for spare battery, AC/DC power adaptor, additional USB data cable, Leather holster. Click for additional info and here Holux Bluetooth GPS reciever GR-231 Rechargable Li-Ion battery SiRF Star 2 chipset, tracks up to 12 satellites. Driver, software CD, Mini-USB data/charge cable, USB AC adaptor, cig lighter 12vDC USB adaptor (works with the Axim too) Info here I used to use this for road trips. It's a full fledged PPC. Everything is in good shape and works well. I used a cassette adapter and got turn-by-turn navigation and played MP3's that were loaded onto the SD card thru my car stereo. I haven't used this in a while. I have made sure everything powers up, but I have not tested battery life. The Dell Axim has been hard reset so all contacts/data/extra programs have been wiped. You will receive it as if it were brand new. The GPS software will need re-installed and the bluetooth GPS re-paired with the PPC. This Holux GPS unit can take a minute to lock on to satallites and should have a CLEAR VIEW OF THE SKY during initial lock on. After then you can throw it in your glove box or whatever. I am also including MS Streets and Trips 2004. Everything is sold "As is." $150 OBO no low balls. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/forsale/th_Axim.jpg Axim X30 +batts, stylus, 4GB SD. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/forsale/th_holster2.jpg Leather holster with belt hook. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/forsale/th_dock.jpg Cradle and cables. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/forsale/th_gps.jpg Holux GPS. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/forsale/th_manual.jpg manual, CDs
JaSSon
To clarify, this Dell Axim X30 is NOT a cell phone, although you could possibly use it for Skype. I've never tried. Oh, and before anyone asks, this PPC can not be upgraded to WM5 or 6. WM2003 is faster anyway. Also, I had iGuidance 3.0 (navigation software) installed on this, it worked VERY well. 87GT
I can vouch for Holux GPS receivers. I had one for a few years and they work great. They take some time to get a signal but once you have it the signal it only dies in large tunnels. This is worth the asking price. Free bump! hot_wire
whats the web browser like on a ppc? is flash functional?
JaSSon
Depends on the browser you install. By default it comes with a mobile version of IE installed which is pretty weak. I don't see why you couldn't install Opera Mobile or Skyfire or Iris.
