ImUrOBGYN
Should be plug and play. Is this a 4 or 6cyl Camry? Also, do you have a pic/part number of the coil pack you need? Oh, and what year Camry?
Sturg1647545502
after taking a look at it its just a few bolts... you have to break your hands to get to them but its all good in the hood. 2000 camry 4cyl L and R coils. ImUrOBGYN
Can't help you there. I may've been able to do something for the v6 coils. Glad you figured it out, though.
nuinqua
Be sure your coils are bad, unless they don't cost too much.
ImUrOBGYN
I'm sure his coils won't be cheap. I'd definitely have them tested or test them yourself. I know you said the shop said they needed to be replaced, but you want to be sure that's not their "stock" answer for a misfire.
Sturg1647545502
in the am i noticed the enige would rough idle at stop lights but the lights would dim also. NBD, thought it was either alternator or plugs/plug wires. the next am leaving the department it was misfiring all over the place. what was happening is when you would spray the coils themselfs with water, the engine would fall on its face... i was in dayton and didnt have any real tools, so i just bought some NKG's and new wires. the care runs well with out any issues with the new plugs and wires. OEM coils are stupid expensive so imma Ebay it. whats wierd is that a buddy works for toyota/lexis and hes never heard of toyota coils failing.... either way i got it worked out.
