mmrmnhrm
Have an interesting one here that I could use some help with. Got some stream captures for a set of scoreboard modules that use RS232 for data. I want to tear the stream apart, figure out what goes where, and then put the stream back together in new ways to display what I want to display. Regular hex editors that I've seen (so far, anyway) aren't able to account for start/stop/parity bits, incorrectly interpreting them as part of the data stream. So... looking for a program that will: 1. Read in a file with the raw data stream 2. Allow me to tweak the word length, parity, stop bits, and handshaking until I get something that looks familiar (I do have a rough idea of what I'm looking for) 3. Let me create a new data stream and send it to either a file or (even better) the serial port to test my theories.
