ZappBrannigan
Got a patch of rust on my driverside frame rail. Taking tonight to wirebrush/sand/wash it and I ordered some POR-15. Is this stuff gonna do the trick or is there something better i should be using? I have little to no experience with rust control ;(

ZappBrannigan
Its was light and on the surface. I just sanded the rust off with a wirebrush then a dremel. its down to fresh silver metal, and i was going to paint that. I figured i caught it in time before I have to go to steps of cutting it up. Guest 614Streets
Por 15 isnt bad , just make sure you prep it well with the metal wash etch and degreaser , then top coat it with a rustolem paint.

Just paint as let the por-15 take the place of primer right?
