Still needs the starter, radiator, hoses, fuel lines, alternator, battery and a couple other things installed. I'm looking for a set of 35's for cheap that I can put on it. Interior needs cleaned up a little. And the seats are cool in an ugly retro kinda way, but even if I wanted to keep them they are all shitty and ripped up. 2 Sweet Posted February 17, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 I asked my brother about the heads, he says he drilled them for steam holes or something along those lines, I don't remember. Bought a Pioneer head unit from Sean (TbirdSC91), and looking to buy a used set of 6x9 speakers for cheap. I also need tires, the guy on craigslist sold the 35's before I could get them. FormulaMatt Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 Looks like a nice project. I have had a 90 K5 and a 86 K5 Jimmy (or K15 - whatever they called the GMC version). Awesome runners. One thing I will caution you of though, stay on top of the rust....once it starts its almost impossible to stop without replacing the panels. Especially watch the floor pans on these from under. My 90 K5 you could stick your feet out the bottom and keep pushing if the engine died!
