2 Sweet
Now that my truck is sold I am looking to buy a 1998-2002 Camaro Z28 or SS. MUST be a 6-speed and have t-tops or convertible. Leather is preferred, but thats not a deal breaker. Color doesn't matter. Mods and mileage don't matter, as long as the car is in good condition and runs and drives well. I'm very specific as to what I want. No LT1 cars, no automatics, no hardtops, no Pontiacs, no anything else. As much as I love Formulas and Trans Ams I'm not going to settle. I just prefer Camaros for some reason. And I already own a hardtop automatic f-body so there's no need for a second one. Looking to spend less than $8k. The cheaper the better. Let me know if you have one for sale, or know of one. Thanks

2 Sweet
Anything over 6k I will probably need to talk to my bank, but for the right car I could easily work something out and spend a little more. 8k tops
Archie
If your only looking to spend $6k-$8k, I'd go ahead and rule out an SS.
2 Sweet
Actually I've seen quite a few in that price range as of late. Test drove one last month down in Cincy actually and it was 8k with like 80k miles IIRC
nurkvinny
Here is an 00 SS that can be had for less than 8k. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-sale-lsx-powered-only/1069622-fs-2000-camaro-ss-hardtop-6spd.html Red 99 SS that I'm sure would take 8k. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-sale-lsx-powered-only/1050996-fs-trade-red-99-camaro-ss-m6-t-top.html This SS is under 8k now I believe. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-sale-lsx-powered-only/1017042-blue-99-m6-ss-8500-73000-miles.html I was one of the last people to admit it, but the market has most definitely fallen out from underneath these and other pleasure cars. 2 Sweet
Yeah I've been checking ls1tech every day. The 3rd link you posted just sold a few days ago unfortunately, otherwise I definitely would have gone after it.
