Dr. Apex Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 For sale is my Dell Inspiron 5100 Laptop.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,997075,00.asp It has a Pentium 4 2.66ghz processor, 256mg ram, 40gb hdd, cd burner w/dvd player. Windows XP Pro operating system. It is being wiped and restored as I type this and will come with the carry case, restore discs, and manual. Also I have a Linksys wireless g card for it that will be included. It has been a reliable computer for me. It's only issues has been overheating, the fan is easily blocked when it's on your lap. This has improved since I've had it cleaned the other day. The other issue is battery life, it'd down to probably 30 mins as the battery is the original and the computer is 6-7 years old so it works best at home as more of a desktop. Also a very small line of bad pixels on the monitor, after a couple days I never noticed it anymore. Overall a very reliable computer for me. $150, Firm. PM if interested.
