no its me repeatedly making fun of people running directional tires with directional belts on cars, just waiting on their tires to explode on them as their cruising down the highway

Hmm.. I doubt a modern directional will come apart on the highway. However, it will effectively pump water UNDER the tire and make hydroplaning a near certainty in even moderate rain. Good to see he enjoys going backwards into jersey barriers.

How can someone into cars do that? Seems like he probably just paid to have the car built and likely has no clue.

Here's the quote, straight from the horse's mouth (Kean @ BL):

We tested on a 76. It makes 20psi of boost at 2800 rpms. It's already at peak torque before 4500 rpms. Basically anytime you're on the gas, at any RPM, you're in boost.

It was a little bit higher RPM than I thought, but still, 20psi @ 2800 RPM on a 76mm turbo isn't too shabby

Who runs 20 psi anymore?

It makes 30+ in the low 4's, still impressive. We are also still waiting on real world performance though...

They've held back any videos of the kit so far. They claimed full boost on a GT45R by 4500. Dragging this thing will be fine, but the one road racing guy is going to get one of these kits on his car. It will be interesting to see how it does.
