nurkvinny
What kind of locker/spool/posi is it? I had a locker do something similar to me, but it was a power-trax unit that replaces spider gears in a 10 bolt. I had to reinstall it because the teeth weren't meshing. I'm sure you aren't running the same thing, but the locker could screw up. Just a thought. It is an Auburn conical style posi.
nurkvinny
damn gm products j/k sounds like a head scratcher to me The Ford part between the rear wheels is the only problem I have had REPEATED issues with over the years. And, I mean like 8-10 issues. Next, I build a narrowed 12-bolt.
Guest Removed
dont blame a miss handled ford part. from the sounds of it anyway, that may be where the issue is. next time it does it, see if the drive shaft is spinning or not. that will tell the tail of where the issue is
tomcowle
What valve body do you have in it? Some automatic shift kit valve body mods will do that if you don't start out in 1st when going thru the gears or get up to a higher rpm before shifting. I have one that does the same thing (shift kitted forward pattern valve body with detent cable removed and no kickdown linkage). When my wife drives it she generally comes back yelling at me telling me something broke in it.
