jeffro
All drivers for his mobo, graphics card and whatnot were installed after the OS. I couldn't identify what the yellows in his DM were besides their generic names. Worked on my WIFI, and connected through ethernet when I dropped it off. interesting. so this problem is a result of something other than a bad installation. rob quit lookin at gay porn. copperhead
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0209883 There ya go. Cheap thing to try out, just disable all the other network stuff before installing.
psi nrg
Sometimes my computer just wont connect to the internet or it will be connected but say low connectivity so I cant upload my home page. Then it randomly starts working. One thing I did do that got it to work once was It kept saying the connection was corrupt so I uninstalled it and then reinstalled a new one and it worked fine after that. I hate computers lol. Guest Removed
We need to check your router settings, and maybe set some static routes. it does it without the router. did it with the old router. im almost wondering if the card is the issue. sol740
it does it without the router. did it with the old router. im almost wondering if the card is the issue. Its worth it to try since its free, and may help. Also when you're dropping connectivity, are you rebooting the router ? Rebooting both ? How often is it dropping ? Putting a NIC in takes all of 10 seconds, and they're cheap, we can do that and test it. Though it just seems odd that your integrated hardware would intermittently fail, as opposed to just failing. Guest Removed
well that is whats is weird. i dont loose the connection. it just wont let me connect to the internet. restarting hasnt helped, and last night i have no idea wtf happened! like if i unplug the cord, it say's connection lost. then plug it back in it goes thru its thing.and reconnect's. but still would not let me go on the net
sol740
We'll check it out soon, possible DNS issue, could be getting firewalled. Possible hardware issue ... sometimes these problems can be ... irritating. Especially when you had a bad case of viruses/malware, like you did before the fresh install. sol740
^ and sometimes they aren't, you never know what "adjustments" have been made to pirated software. Plenty are basically copies with a crack, or work-around, others will have trojans/viruses, or even rootkits.
