Guest Hal Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 This is a Century Arms AK chambered in the standard 7.62x39. I think I put ~300 rounds through it, I just haven't had it out very much. We found that the front sight post was pinned slightly too far back so the brake was able to move a little bit. I made a spacer which has fixed the issue although it was never a problem during shooting. Aumiller told me this could be warrantied but 6 weeks isn't worth it for this IMO. Because of this, I will accept $450 for this rifle and (2) mags. (I paid $599.99 new). The brake threads onto the barrel, it would have to move a huge amount to contact the bullet. The spacer is similar, it is just a washer that fits over the barrel.
