Guest Removed
Hell i dont need that one top bolt anyway do i? lol. I would but i kinda want the over drive so i can drive it somewhere if need be. first gear is a different ratio and yes you would be ok IMO running 5 bolts, but i would rather see all 6 in there, just to keep the bell from cracking! and with spray, you want a lower rer gear ratio anyway, cause the spray wil change the rpm on the big end...hence why some can run over drive and tall gears on spray my car has 30" tall tires, a 4800 converter etc, and im going to go with a 3.55 gear for the spray..buy the big block for my car make a ton of torque
V8 Beast
Jerry I just caught your post about timing. This is what i do with my car. I highlighted my car because some people have their own recipes. This one has worked for me for almost 4 years. 50 shot - 26* 75 shot - 25* or really good gas 100 - 24* 150 - 22* 175 - 20* + race gas 109 octane or higher + Progressive timer 200 - Timing = Not telling you.. If you blow up your car I had nothing to do with it lol + race gas 112 octane or higher + Progressive timer + dedicated fuel system 250+ - Get a direct port and build your motor As you can see I have more timing taken out than needed because I'm a scared little girl

V8 Beast
now brian, is that race gas in the cars tank too? cause you have the under hood tank for the spray? lets not confuse this guy ok.lmao LOL! I run 112 in the cell at all times. The amount I'm spraying determines the octane in the cars tank. It never goes above 109 though. I ran a mix of 4 gallons of 109 and 1 gallon of 94when I sprayed a 150 before the cell. Everyone told me I was overdoing it.
sprayin77
lol. I havent ran the spray yet but 2 times. the first pass on the dyno the wheels spun. 2nd pass me and another person had to sit in the trunk. I really didnt get a chance to really tune for the spray yet because i blew out my driver side header gasket. I didnt want to risk burning a valve so i stopped there. i wanted to uncap it after we got the nitrous set up right then see what she really has. brian will be posting the dyno run tonight or tomorrow. It was really really rich.
