sprayin77
I have no idea what is going on with my oil pressure gauge in my car. I jumped in it today and took it down the road and noticed that my gauge is pegged all the way to the right past 80 psi. The gauge does not move at all . does anyone know what it could be before i go tearing things apart to find the problem? I put a new sending unit in it when i did the heads and cam swap. Guest Removed
what oil pump did you use when you did the cam swap? could be some trash trapped in the relief spring in the pump! i would say put a oil pressure gauge on it, before trusting the factory type gauge. ie putting you snap on gauge on it and see where it really is first, before you start tearing more stuff down.
