I currently live in Savannah, GA because I was active army stationed at Ft. Stewart. I joined the Ohio National Guard so I could come back home and go to school for free. I got banned bc of what I said about people flamming my brother in his newbie post. I dunno if many people have met me because I've been away for about the last 4 years. I went to one meet in March or April this year with the Escort. I stood out bc I was the only guy in flip flops in 45 degree weather(I'd just drove from GA). I drive a 94 Ford Escort lx with a home-made intake(cone on factory piping) and a pace setter exhaust bc it was only $40 more then factory replacement. This car sucks but got me 38mpg on the way to my first drill and costs nothing to repair so it stays no matter what anyone says about it...Or until the frame rusts through. I posted this pic so it'd be easier to look at my car. Its my wifes but I traded my bike for it so its hard for me to accept its hers. Might recognize the Jeep I got it from a guy on the board...the pic is $500 after fun money spent and $3000 spent on repairs after I got it. Not going to say anything till it happens though ya know incase it falls through. But, Its a 97(kouki)with a blacktop sr swap. Put down 261 at 14psi. Alternator was goin out so had to make the trip in 4th, let my buddy drive and he didn't know and kaput. Did a nator w/ a 12.99 socket set and cell phone flash light in the rain...I dont think i've said F*ck so many times in my life. Needless to say we made it same day. Honestly w/ the way the economy is i think ford should bring them back. They could probably rerelease this style for like 6999.99 Brand new and it gets good gas mileage and is cheap to fix. Thats what they're looking for in Hybrids -easy to fix right??? And its not any uglier then the EcoBoxes they sell now like the Cube. And as far as space, I fit 4 265/75/16 Jeep wheels in there. Best beater ever if you ask me. FYI-Dude that owns that viper is at most 3 years older then me. Dunno if he scored a sugar-mama or what but he did something right.
