SOLD!

Daughter Amanda is now the proud owner of a 1997 Geo Prizm LSi, and so I am selling her previous steed.

1990 Plymouth Acclaim LE (the "LE" stands for "Less Excitement"). 2.5 liters of four cylinder, SOHC, 8V power! Automatic transmission, AC, and maybe a few other options. Medium blue metallic, blue cloth interior. Around 100,000 miles. Was my father-in-law's car for the past 17 or so years. Well maintained - we have most all records.

THE GOOD: Goes, stops, and turns pretty much as it should. No funny noises or smells. Looks good with no rust or significant dents or scratches. Car is pretty clean overall. New tires as of February 2009. New front brake pads and rotors. New belts. Everything works.

THE NON-GOOD: Front struts really should be replaced. I also believe the front sway bar bushings need replaced as there is a periodic klunk from the front. Typical minor oil leaks, but not obnoxious. Leak in exhaust system but not excessively loud. I believe the heater control valve needs replaced or adjusted because some heat comes out of vents even when control is on full cold.

SUMMARY: This is a decent old car with some issues, but way better than most stuff in in this price range. Will have pictures in a day or so.

$800 with current AM / FM CD. $700 with no radio.
