SPLN SUX
I'm trying to remove the damn thing to get at the rear main seal and I cant get it off... I don't even know how its supposed to come off. I thought it would just separate with the trans but its bolted to the flywheel and we cant get it off the crank. No one seems to have a Chilton's around here and the Haynes manual sucks serious ass. Help Please.

Guest Removed
should be 4 or 6 bolts...not studs studs where used on rwd converters # On models with 2.0L engine, remove starter motor. # On models with 2.5L engine, remove inspection cover. SPLN SUX
its the 2.0 So removing the starter will grant access?
Guest Removed
its the 2.0 So removing the starter will grant access? should...or the inspection cover right below the oil pan.... the starter will have to come off anyway, if you are pulling the trans. the bolt go thru the bell.
