Do you mean just the turbo? or do you mean like a full motor with turbo (ie motor swap)?

If you just want the turbo then thats no issue as long as the turbo fits where you want or need it then its fine.

Why would you put an Audi turbo on a VR6? Your stock exhaust system isn't as restrictive as those baby K series turbos.

What he said, why put a small turbo on? The k06's are tiny. Not to mention there would be no such thing as boost lag on a 6 cyl w/ that dinky turbo.

Talk to 6 speed S4 about the dinky K06, if your budget minded and you want a really driveable car there is nothing wrong with the K06.

Sorry to get on the soap box here, but there comes a time when a bigger turbo is not better pending the application. These dyno graphs that flatline til 4K rpm then shoot almost straight up is completely ridiculous. So, from the standpoint of being a fun street car the K06 is not that bad.

yea but everybody knows size of turbo = size of p*nis

Oh right I forgot, when building a car it is more important to have a bigger penis than making it somewhat enjoyable.

Spray = expensive, can't be that good for the turbo can it?

WTF is a k06?

Ok, you can put any turbo on there you want, its just a matter of will it be worth your time to do it. A single k03 or k04 turbo wont be enough for a vr6, probably not even a single k26 turbo. Ideally a single GT35r would be the best way to go.

fuck spray

Haha you beat me to it Chris, wtf is a K06? K series turbos are useless in a VR6 (unless its a K27, K29 or bigger). They spool way way too damn early as they were designed for the 4 cylinder motors they went in. The K27 in my 1.8T spools by 3200 rpm, which = roasted clutch/tires.
