HAOLE
brain is all i know...she hasnt had a stroke or anything to cause it either I am certainly not a neurologist, but I would assume a brain injury at some point in life could have been a contributing factor. Even a low speed car accident could set off something like this and take years to get noticed. This is mostly seen in older adults, some will have dementia type symptoms (Alzheimer's). I think I read something about a statin drug being used to treat this. Ask Kirk, he may know more about that than I do. I did just read that their is some Chinese research supporting Ginko Biloba in treatment of brain ischemia. My advice is go talk to the neuro. He will know best what the prognosis is. From what I know, it is not going to resolve on its own.
