verse Posted August 12, 2009 Report Share Posted August 12, 2009 The Doug Gottlieb Show's 10 commandments for watching NFL preseason games 1 Thou shall not wager one penny on a preseason game. 2 Thou shall not make any reference to any team's preseason record or stats. 3 Thou shall not use "watching an NFL preseason game" as an excuse to get out of a family function. 4 Thou shall not throw a party or meet at a sports bar to watch a preseason game. 5 Thou shall not be the least bit impressed with any third string quarterback. 6 Thou shall refrain from jerseys and body paint during the preseason. 7 Thou shall not complain about the play-calling during the preseason. 8 For Michigan residents: Thou shall not riot if the Lions win a preseason game. 9 Thou shall not complain about any replays or wish your team "Could've challenged that!" 10 Thou shall not ask yourself, "Should we go for two here?"
