It gets a reading from an 02 sensor that you put in your exhaust. The wiring harness is plenty long enough for any car/ truck and has all the connections pre-wired. The unit itself you can see in the pic, mounts easily on a dashboard. I had it right on top of my steering column when I used it... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
