KillJoy
I am contemplating getting one of THESE TWO NETBOOKS from Verizon. Either one is $150. If you were to pick one of these two, which would you get, and why? Thanks! KillJoy

KillJoy
$150?! They require a 2 year wireless contract (min of $40 / month). So, yes... $150 KillJoy

jeffro
Windows 7 is going to be the new big os. I absolutely hate vista but 7 is nice. The size of the thing is barely larger. Id say thats worth the extra memory. Id kill myself with only 1 gig of memory.

Furloaf
Given those choices: the HP, no contest. I think netbooks are stupid though and don't care about how large/small they are. Even the smallest are still big enough to be such an inconvenience that I would opt for a fully functional laptop.

JaSSon
Absolutely the HP. the nVidia Ion uses their 9400M chipset, which is actually a fairly competent mobile graphics solution. It's a netbook that can actually play video and render graphics. The Intel GMA950 in the Gateway (and 95% of other netbooks is a joke.) Personally tho, i would buy neither. Minimum, you're paying $940+the cost of the netbook+ taxes. You're crazy to pay that!
