jeffro Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 i got the nut off but i cant get the bolt out. it just spins if i try to back it out. i tried hitting it with a piece of wood and a hammer, no luck. tried a piece of wood and a BFH. still no luck. i jacked the control arm up to get the tension off it and it still wouldnt budge. what am i doing wrong? all i wanna do is get the spring out! Guest Removed Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 bolt is rusted to the steel sleev inside the bushing... i soak in pb blaster, and heat them and beat them, and replace and anti seize them with the heating tho, cant get it too hot at once, it catchs the bushing on fire, and melts it away.. and why are you removing the control arm ? you dont need to to do springs in that car Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
