turbobuckeye
Thank you again to Hazman “The Godfather of the Digital Crayon” for creating yet another masterpiece for the 2010 LX & Beyond Nationals. I have a tremendous amount of respect for his talent and would not have asked anybody else to do this for us. Some of you may or may not recognize the vehicle pictured but it was on display at this year’s 2009 SEMA Convention and belongs to an LX family member and friend. His previous vehicle was featured on the 2009 LX & Beyond Nationals banner but due to unforeseen circumstances he was unable to attend. To my surprise he has created another stunning Mopar and will be attending the 2010 LX & Beyond Nationals. Congrats to Oklahoma’s own Chris aka KRYPTONITE! Copy this banner and post in your signature to spread the word. turbobuckeye
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb181/turbobuckeye_ohio/2010BannerSig03.jpg WHAT IS THE LX & BEYOND NATIONALS? Founded in 2008, and based in Ohio, the LX & Beyond Nationals is the ONLY drag racing, car show and entertainment event in the United States completely dedicated to the Modern MOPAR Muscle and Performance vehicles. A grassroots event that began in Spring '07, as a meet-and-greet in a restaurant parking lot in Columbus, OH. This annual event hosts hundreds of die-hard enthusiasts and aftermarket manufacturers from California to New York, from Canada and everywhere else in-between. Enthusiasts interested in showing off their cars, testing its performance limits on the 1320 and learning what is new and available in the aftermarket attend this event every year. The event is open to the public and dedicated to the continued growth of the car hobby. If you own an LX-platform or any SRT performance vehicle (or in the market to purchase one) this is an event you want to attend and see what the cars and the culture associated with owning one is all about. This event has two purposes, which we firmly stand behind: Provide an industry-leading event for the modern Mopar commmunity that is exciting, dynamic and unlike other automotive events Contribute to the continued growth of the car hobby, by bringing together modern Mopar musclecar and performance vehicle enthusiasts from across the country in a family-oriented atmoshphere. This includes the aftermarket manufacturers, vendors and frontiers that support these vehicles. The LX & Beyond Nationals continues to grow each year because its a necessary alternative to owning a late-model Mopar (LX/LC-platform or SRT) and being put into the corner of other "All-Chrysler", "All Hemi" or "All-Mopar" events. These cars deserve their own spotlight and time to shine. Since our beginning, attendees have graced the pages of some of the industry-leading magazines including: Mopar Action, Mopar Muscle, Performance Auto & Sound, Domestic Driver and Urban Racer Magazine. We are MOPAR enthusiasts just like you and enjoy being apart of this family/culture; and owning an "LX & Beyond" vehicle. In addition to the looks and performance, the commarderie of owning one is what fuels our passion for creating this event each year. We look forward to seeing you at the 2010 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS! turbobuckeye
Thank you everyone for your patience!!! We had to delay the 17th update a few days to sort out some details but without further ado....here's the latest news!!! We are pleased to announce that the LX & BEYOND NATIONALS has joined the East Coast Modern Street Hemi Shootout Series for the 2010 Racing Season. The point series has been organized by Builder Bill, FlyByU and lou1355. We think this is a great idea and honored to have the invitation extended to us to be a part of it. This means all GEN III 5.7 and/or 6.1 based HEMI vehicles will be eligible to compete in the heads-up points series which began in Bradenton, FL earlier this month and will conclude at Atco Raceway in November. We look forward to seeing ALL competitors from across the country that want to have a weekend of fun lining up head-to-head with some of the leading GEN III HEMI vehicles in the country. Even if you are not racing, come out to support and cheer on your favorite forum member, modern Mopar or performance shop. Thank you again to Lou, Bill and Dan for taking the initiative on organizing the points series. Keep an eye out on post #1-6 for updates on rules and regulations for the points series. Anybody that does not want to race heads-up and enjoys bracket racing competition you will not be left out of the action. In addition, to the heads-up racing we will continue to host the bracket racing classes for you. I know there are some folks out there looking forward to defending their 2009 titles and we are looking forward to seeing you as well. Last but not least, the carshow competition will also return for the 2010 season and details will be coming soon on the classes available for those of you interested in competing for awards and prizes. Without a doubt, this is gonna be a busy and fun-filled weekend for all of you able to attend! In case you missed the announcements, once again would we like to thank the following sponsors for their support: PARAMOUNT PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS, BILLET TECHNOLOGY, and SPARKPLUGS.COM. More announcements on the way!!! Team SRT is planning to be in attendance for their 2nd year in a row. Last year we saw the Viper-powered Challenger in-person. turbobuckeye
2010 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS - THE CARAVANS Good way to find out who else in your area or state is thinking about the event is to get those caravan threads started. Its never too early to start planning even if you don't have the specific route and time yet. One person would not have to be in charge of the entire caravan (unless they want to) just the section that starts at their location. Really good idea too for sponsors that have shops in the cities that caravans pass thru. (hint! hint!) Everybody knows those areas/states that always represent BIG but maybe there are some new folks on the board (or lurkers) that have never attended or don't know folks in their area that well. turbobuckeye
Lot's of updates coming up over the next few weeks on http://www.LXandBeyondNats.com. Keep an eye there for news as well as your favorite forum. Current Caravans/Convoys have been added for everyone to see: 2010 LX & BEYOND: THE CARAVANS ***If you or anybody you know is organizing a caravan let me know and we will be sure to add it. Many people have emailed me asking if there is a caravan in their area or rolling thru their area so once you start that thread you may be surprised at the number of folks that show up. There are non-forum LX & Beyond attendees that are waiting for the opportunity to be apart of the drive to LXNATS 2010. ***Hotel rooms are starting to fill-up so don't wait too long to reserve yours.
