lawnman
My suv rear end has dropped , I think it is the air ride suspension. From time to time I could hear the pump running in the rear. I thought this was just the ride height being adjusted , now I come out of the house this morning and the rear end is dropped and looks like a low rider. The suv is only worth $3500 so I do not want to spend alot of $ to fix it. Is there an alternative to the stock rear suspension and does anyone have an idea on cost ? I found kits from Jegs for air ride suspension , but do not know if they would apply to my suv. Also I would need someone to do the work . Guest Removed
depends on what is leaking..if the bags are leaking replace them. i know i have swapped a bunch of lincolns from the air ride to normal suspension(coil springs). I'll check and see if i can get the kit for that. that should only have the rear air set up...pretty sure you can just put the normal coil springs in it

6 Speed S4
sounds like the bags leaking. I would swap to coil springs like rob said.
