Korpy1647545521
I am rebuilding a Chevy 350 motor, and im at the point to put the heads on. I have read on some websites that 305 heads on a 350 motor will flow better than 350 heads, but i have also read that there is no big difference between the two. Just curious which would be a better head to use or if it really matter. Thanks
Guest Removed
305 head have a smaller chamber..it bumps the cr up some..they dont flow better unless your talking the vortec heads there are some heads that flow better then others, but not by much stock vs stock. what are you doing with the motor? Korpy1647545521
no they are both the stock heads, the motor is just a stock 350, its going in a 23 t-bucket. The motor will eventually get nitrous though.
nurkvinny
The best 305 heads will work better than the worst of the worst 350 heads, but in general, stick with the 350 heads. If you knew the specs of each, we can help more.
