5.0 rod/piston question

okay I have a short block i am building right now it has eagle SIR rods in it with stock trw forged mustang pistons in it they have been flycut by the previous owner and i dont like the way they look I can get a killer deal on these pistions in question but i need to know if they are the same style as stock pistons and will work with my eagle sir rods

 

Mahle forged Aluminum pistons std bore 302

4.00 bore .912 pin dia -6.6 valve relief 1.6 comp height 9.1 compresion with 64 cc head

sell's for 626 dollars mail order Mahle SBF600030F06 Mahle PowerPak Piston Kits same pistons just std bore also comes with piston rings

8 new pistons forged

8 new wrist pins

1 new set of rings

this kit sell for 626 new at jegs and summit racing.

 

will the pistons listed above work with eagle rods?

well shouldnt we be able to know since the block has stock ford pistons in it?

 

im almost positive these are the rods in that block

Rob pm me how much you would charge me to take that block apart and make sure its all good to go and if these pistons in question will work ill buy them and put them back in it they come with new wrist pins and rings as well

unless the bore is to loose..the just over bore it

 

i will if those pistons i listed above will work haha

 

pm me a price on what u will charge me to take the stock pistons out an put those in there as well as the cam i have and a new timing chain
