thorne
http://www.oxytane.com/ Has anyone heard anything about it? I'm seeing some chatter about using it with E85 and picking up power. I was just curious if anyone else had heard about the product.
unfunnyryan
1. For use with hydrocarbons, ethanol isn't a hydrocarbon. 2. Reading more, it says you basically gain energy that is lost as static by the fuel moving around in your fuel system.. you would gain more power turning off your radio. 3. They use the word "theory" 3 times on the "What is oxytane" page. Its probably no more than acetone.

Rally Pat
Well, to be fair, E85 is 15% hydrocarbons, so I suppose it COULD do something.

ImUrOBGYN
I think I'd hold off on that. At least until someone reputable can confirm it with real test data. I have heard that this will make your "Tornado" spin faster.

Yes, but it wont. and to be really fair, ethanol is essentially a hydrocarbon but with an extra oxygen molecule added, just not a definitive hydrocarbon as being only hydrogen and carbon. the more you know.
