1. For use with hydrocarbons, ethanol isn't a hydrocarbon.

 

2. Reading more, it says you basically gain energy that is lost as static by the fuel moving around in your fuel system.. you would gain more power turning off your radio.

 

3. They use the word "theory" 3 times on the "What is oxytane" page.

 

Its probably no more than acetone.

Well, to be fair, E85 is 15% hydrocarbons, so I suppose it COULD do something.

 

Yes, but it wont.

 

and to be really fair, ethanol is essentially a hydrocarbon but with an extra oxygen molecule added, just not a definitive hydrocarbon as being only hydrogen and carbon. the more you know.
