schmuckingham Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 Bought this car a few months ago as a complete car, drove it home with no issues and began working on it only to find rust on the floorpan and now under the shock towers. Rust on the floorpan is through the floor on the drivers side and almost on the passenger. There is also a spot on the floor underneath the drivers side front seat support. Under the shock tower I have really check if its minimal or bad, and I dont really care too cause I want this car gone. Body is in good shape other than the dent on the passenger fender from a shovel I guess from an ex owners girlfriend...... or at least thats what I hear. T tops seal well and the interior is a 6 out of 10, the carpet I pitched and dont have a replacement for. Stock seats are in good shape and has a pillar pod for three gauges, trunk needs matting. Car also comes with new door actuators and window motors/gears. Converted to five lug and has 95/95 Cobra brakes and spindles on the car with all new ball joints and such. Hotchkis CC's and Koni adjustable front shocks. MSD 6AL box also on the car as well as a Ford Racing MAF adapter from speed density, ECU and chip also included. Rear of the car has Hotchkis uppers and lowers with 5 lug drum conversion and On3performance heavy duty 28spline axles and 3.73 gears. KYB struts out back and a 190lph pump in the tank. sub frame connectors I am unsure of the brand and its a 5 speed car. All the cables and what not are with the car. Guest Removed Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 Rob I am afraid ill find more than I want to maybe, maybe not...even from the close up's, it dont look bad . even looking at the over head view of the engine bay, it cant be seen. i have done and seen a few that has just had this repaired easy(once its apart like that) but then the bad ones need the whole rail cut out. these dont look like bad ones IMO. would hurt to try. Thats the thing, I dont have the tools to repair the frame rails if they need fixed and I honestly dont have the time or money.
