Bowling?

Where is a CHEAP place to go bowling in Columbus? I used to go out to Plain City every once in a while because it was dirt cheap certain nights, but wondering what else is out there. Any recommendations?

Don't you like Ten Pin Alley (The old Northwest Lanes)?

 

There's a nice bowling alley at the corner of Sullivant Ave. and Georgesville Rd. I was in a couple leagues there.... They also take good care of their lanes. Sawmill Lanes is nice but usually crowded and not cheap. My favorite place to go is Columbus square bowling palace. In the afternoon on weekdays you can play 4 hours for under $20 last time I was there.

Actually I do, that place is REAL nice after they remodeled, but I'm looking for something a little cheaper so I can play three or more games without going broke

Check Sawmill lanes for an afternoon weekday rate. Plain City is probably the cheapest place to bowl in Ohio, but the quality of the lanes are sub par. Still a fun place to go drink beer and bowl for next to nothing. Sounds like your best bet would be to go over to Columbus Square during the week.

I bowl at sequoia pro bowl. They're wood lanes and are kept up. During the evenings during the week they have 10 or 12$ an hour per person. The alley is usually empty. I got 17 games in in one hour once. Lawl.
